Required State Disclosures
For Maryland students enrolled in the Speech@NYU program, New York University will refund students in accordance with Maryland's refund policy.
The minimum refund that an institution shall pay to a Maryland student who withdraws or is terminated after completing only a portion of a course, program, or term within the applicable billing period is as follows:

|Less than 10%||90% refund|
|10% up to but not including 20%||80% refund|
|20% up to but not including 30%||60% refund|
|30% up to but not including 40%||40% refund|
|40% up to but not including 60%||20% refund|
|More than 60%||No refund|
A refund due to a Maryland student shall be based on the date of withdrawal or termination and paid within 60 days from the date of withdrawal or termination.

New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development is not regulated in Texas under the Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code.
New York University is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
After exhausting the institution's grievance/complaint process, current, former, and prospective students may initiate a complaint with THECB by sending the required forms either by electronic mail or by mail to:

All submitted complaints must include a student complaint form, a signed Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Consent and Release form, and a THECB Consent and Agreement Form. Submitted complaints regarding students with disabilities shall also include a signed Authorization to Disclose Medical Record Information form.
