Start Dates

NYU Steinhardt’s online master’s in speech-language pathology program offers rolling admissions, with multiple start dates per year in January and September. Applications are reviewed throughout the year.

The sooner you complete your application, the sooner you will receive an admissions decision and can take another step toward becoming an SLP.

Apply Early to the SLP Program for a Reduced Fee

If you apply to NYU Steinhardt’s online master’s in speech-language pathology by the priority deadline for your desired cohort, you will have your non-refundable application fee reduced from $75 to $45.

You will also receive your admissions decision earlier, giving you more time to plan. This means that you will be able to:

  • Register for classes earlier
  • Begin networking with your classmates
  • Have additional time to plan finances

The online program is ASHA-accredited, and you will be assigned a designated Clinical Placement Specialist who will work with you and NYU Steinhardt faculty to find an ideal field placement in or near your community. Through Speech@NYU, you will gain the experience needed to provide care to diverse populations across the life span.
